The Volleyball team will host seven home matches next season, including five Big Sky Conference games against Montana, Portland State, Northern Colorado, Weber State and Idaho. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but our focus remains on preparing our athletes for the rigors of competition.”The Broncos open the season Feb. 15th at Seattle University before returning home to face four consecutive opponents from the Big Sky Conference beginning March 2nd at Montana. 07/22/2022 01:59:00 PM | Women’s Volleyball 2022 Schedule (pdf) By: Courtesy: Boise State Athletics BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics released the 2022 volleyball schedule Friday afternoon, featuring 29 matches. Boise State will host 14 home contests, five nonconference and nine Mountain West.

Highlighting the nonconference slate will be road matches versus Long Beach State, Notre Dame and Washington.

The season begins Aug. 26-27 when the Broncos host the Saint Mary’s Gaels of the West Coast Conference for a pair of contests.

The second week of action will take the Blue and Orange on the road to southern California and the Long Beach State Tournament (Sept. 1-2) featuring the LBSU Beach and Notre Dame Thursday-Friday. The Broncos will then return to Idaho, playing at Idaho State in Pocatello on Monday (Sept. 5).

The Boise State Classic Sept. 9-10 will be the focus of week three as the Broncos host Butler, Southern Utah and Eastern Washington in Bronco Gym.

The nonconference slate concludes with the Bobcat Invitational at Bozeman, Mont., Sept. 15-17. Boise State will open with the host school Montana State, followed by matches versus North Texas and Washington.

September closes with the start of Mountain West play which opens with a two-match homestand versus New Mexico and Air Force (Sept. 22-24).

The other seven home conference contests include Fresno State and San Jose State (Oct. 6-8), Wyoming (Oct. 22), Utah State and UNLV (Oct. 25-27), as well as Nevada and San Jose State (Nov. 10-12).

The nine league road contests begin with San Jose State and Nevada (Sept. 29-Oct. 1), followed by at Utah State and UNLV (Oct. 11-15), at Colorado State (Oct. 20), at San Diego State and Fresno State (Nov. 3-5) and wraps up with the regular-season finale at Air Force and New Mexico (Nov. 17-19).

Boise State will play for the Mountain West Conference title at the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in Fort Collins, Colo., beginning Wednesday. The top six ranked squads from the regular season will compete for the championship at the CSU Tournament. The winner gets the MW’s automatic berth into the NCAA Championship.
